Shilpa Agnihotri (Shilpa Saklani Agnihotri) is an Indian TV actress, who is best known for being a contestant in Big Boss 7 a reality show in Colors TV. She is also known for her role as Ganga in the popular soap opera Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She hosts the children's talent show Rin Mera Star Superstar.
Shilpa is from a brahmin family from UP. She was born on 5th June 1982. Shilpa started working at the age of 17 while she was studying commerce at HR College Mumbai. Shilpa Sakhlani is married to actor Apurva Agnihotri.
Rave Party Controversy
In March 2013, Mumbai police filed a chargesheet in 'a rave party' case, wherein IPL player Rahul Sharma, actor couple Apoorva Agnihotri and Shilpa Agnihotri, and others had been rounded up after a raid on a suburban hotel. South African cricketer Wayne Parnell was showed as a wanted accused in the chargesheet.The police had conducted a raid in May,2012 on a party at a hotel in suburban Juhu, where drugs were allegedly being consumed, and rounded up around 86 persons.
